WHO I AM
I graduated with a degree in business and worked in advertising and marketing before I got smart and became a teacher. I have nearly 15 years of teaching and educational leadership experience and have been teaching at the world's top international schools since 2013. I've taught business at the high school and college level and organized dozens of student-led community service projects.
I am a creatively pragmatic international school teacher. I teach IB Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Economics at Dubai American Academy. I believe that building meaningful connections with students provides a valuable foundation for teaching and learning. I believe in the fundamental value of empathetic problem-solving. And I believe that humility and humor can work wonders.

I am inspired by my amazing students, who are preparing to become relentlessly compassionate thinkers, makers, and ​leaders. I love working with practical, smart people who love kids. My husband, Ben, is one of those people. When I'm not at school, I can be found baking, reading, exploring, drinking coffee, or building a fort with my children.
